AS Roma defender Christian Panucci has declared that he is contemplating staying at the club all his life, The Italian international right back joined Roma in 2001 and has admitted that he loves the club and that he has made up his mind to stay at the Stadio Olimpico.

Panucci, who had earlier played with AC Milan and Real Madrid and won the European Cup with both clubs, has developed into one of the best players for AS Roma and has also captained his club on certain occasions.
So much so that the Italian, now 35 years of age, seems to have set his mind on playing at Roma for the rest of his playing career. His agent Oscar Damiani told Romanews.eu:
“He works with enthusiasm and has an innate class. This is his secret - work, sacrifice, passion and natural talent.
“Will he end his career in Rome? I think so, this is his desire.
“Christian wants to end his career here. He is tied to the club and the city.
“There should be no problem with the renewal of the contract, we will see in the coming days what we can do. Even so, there is no need to hurry.”
