Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Hull City in the FA Cup.

Premier League club Chelsea got the better of Championship outfit Hull 2-1 away from home at the KCOM Stadium in the fourth round of the prestigious cup competition.

Michy Batshuayi put Frank Lampard’s side in the lead after just six minutes when his strike deflected off Ryan Tafazolli and went past goalkeeper George Long.

Fikayo Tomori made it 2-0 to the visiting team in the 64th minute when he headed home Ross Barkley’s delivery.

Hull halved the deficit on 78 minutes through a deflected Kamil Grosicki free kick, but Chelsea held on for the win and booked their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Chelsea full-back Azpilicueta is pleased to be still in the FA Cup, but the 30-year-old Spain international has admitted on Twitter that the Blues must improve.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday evening, hosts Hull had 35% of the possession, took 14 shots of which two were on target, and earned eight corners.

Visitors Chelsea had 65% of the possession, took 16 shots of which seven were on target, and earned seven corners.

Back in Action

Chelsea will return to action next weekend when they take on Leicester City away from home at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League.

The Blues are fourth in the league table at the moment with 40 points from 24 matches, eight points behind third-placed Leicester.
