Liverpool registered a pretty comfortable 3-1 win against City at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
Fabinho put the Merseyside outfit ahead after just six minutes, and Mohamed Salah made it 2-0 for the home team in the 13th minute.
Sadio Mane found the net for Liverpool six minutes into the second half, and Bernando Silva pulled one back for Pep Guardiola’s side in the 78th minute.
Liverpool legend Carragher was following the match, and he has given his take on the final result on Twitter, and has praised Fabinho for his performance.
Huge 3 points for @LFC today & 9 points is a huge lead at this early stage. I thought @ManCity played very well with the ball, but they just couldn’t cope defensively. Fabinho & the CB’s were immense for #LiverpoolFC #LIVMANC
