Vorm parted company with Tottenham at the end of last season when his contract with the North London outfit ran out.
The 35-year-old goalkeeper moved to Spurs from Swansea City in the summer of 2014 and was on the books of the Premier League club until the end of last season.
Tottenham have announced on their official website that they have re-signed the Dutchman on a free transfer on a contract that runs until the end of the season.
Cover For Hugo Lloris
Vorm has been signed as a cover for Hugo Lloris, who is on the sidelines at the moment.
Lloris, who is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, dislocated his elbow during Tottenham’s recent Premier League game against Brighton and Hove Albion..
The 32-year-old goalkeeper is not expected to train until the New Year, and Vorm will slot into the starting lineup.
Paulo Gazzaniga is the only other recognised senior goalkeeper in manager Mauricio Pochettino’s squad, and the former 27-year-old Southampton custodian will be competing with Vorm for a place in the starting lineup.
Back In Action
Tottenham will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Watford at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League.
Spurs are ninth in the Premier League table at the moment with 11 points from eight matches, three points behind fourth-placed Leicester City.
