The Dutch entry for the international racing series, A1 GP is A1 Team The Netherlands, and their orange colored car, after Dutch national color, was unveiled on 16th September, 2005. Owned by Jan Lammers, former Formula One driver and winner of the Le Mans driver. ‘Racing for Holland’, which is the racing team owned by Lammer, manages the A1 GP Team The Netherlands.
Raching for Holland is known for it’s participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans as well as the FIA Sportscars Series. Jeroen Bleekemolen is the main driver of the team, after he replaced Jos Verstappen, who was the previous driver, who departed from the team due to stalled contract negotiations. The current backup driver if Arie Luyendyk Jr. who replaced Renger van der Zande, for the 2007-08 season.
