Nyck de Vries is a racing driver who currently is Mercedes’ reserve driver in Formula One, but will be a full-time driver for AlphaTauri in 2023.
He made his F1 debut for Williams at the 2022 Italian Grand Prix after Alexander Albon was ruled out with appendicitis. De Vries finished ninth, scoring points on his F1 debut. In October 2022, AlphaTauri confirmed de Vries would be joining them to replace Pierre Gasly who was departing for Alpine.
