Lance Stroll is a racing driver competing in Formula One under the Canadian flag and for Aston Martin.
Career
The young professional racer has earned three championship titles including the FIA European Formula 3 in 2016, Toyota Racing Series in 2015, and the Italian F4 in 2014. In addition, he comes with 3 podium finishes, the first of which happened during the 2017 Azerbaijan Grand Prix when he finished third place. This win made him the youngest driver to have finished a Formula One race on the podium during its rookie season.
The Belgian-Canadian professional racer started his racing career by being one of the karting drivers at the age of 10. During his first year, he won the rookie and driver of the year awards and became the champion of the Federation de Sport Automobile du Quebec. By 2010, he became part of the Ferrari Driver Academy.

Before competing under Formula One in 2017, Stroll competed under Formula 4 and Formula 3. He made his Formula 4 debut during the Florida Winter Series in 2014. In addition, he made his debut in competitive car racing during the Italian F4 Championship in the same year and took home the championship as well as five pole positions, thirteen podium finishes and seven race wins. In the 2015 and 2016 seasons, he started competing under Formula 3 and won the Toyota Racing Series.
In 2017, Stroll made his Formula One debut driving for Williams during the Australian Grand Prix. He drove for Williams until 2018 before transferring to Racing Point in 2019. In 2021 Racing Point was rebranded to Aston Martin. At present, he is ranked 11th in Formula One. His latest car racing entry on the other hand happened during the 2021 Austrian Grand Prix.
The talented young driver is born to a Belgian fashion designer and a billionaire Canadian businessman who is one of the owners of the Aston Martin Formula One team. His father is of Jewish-Russian descent.
