Career

His first professional fight was held in August 2009. It was a win against Frankie Mendez for KOTC Thunderstruck. Since he turned pro, he has been in 36 fights, winning 31. Before he started fighting for WEC, he also fought for the Alaska Fighting Championship.

His first professional loss was also his first fight for the WEC. It was against Brad Pickett and was held in April 2010.

In February 2011, he started fighting for the UFC. His first fight for the promoter was against Norifumi Yamamoto. He continued fighting in the UFC through to August 2018 when he suffered his first loss with the promoter. It was against Henry Cejudo. In March of the following year, he started fighting for ONE and his first fight was a win against Yuya Wakamatsu.

His latest fight for ONE was held in August 2022. It was a win against Adriano Moraes. The two are scheduled to have a rematch in May 2023.
