Claude Giroux

Claude Giroux is a Canadian winger on the Philadelphia Flyers.

Giroux was drafted in the first round of the 2006 draft by the Flyers, while playing in the QMJHL. In three seasons with the Gatineau Olympiques, Giroux scored at least 38 goals and 100 points in each season. He played in 2 games for the Flyers in 2007-08, and appeared in 42 games for them in 2008-09, as well as making their playoff roster, after scoring 27 points in the regular season. Giroux will be playing his first full NHL season in 2009-10.

Giroux was a member of the 2008 Canadian Junior national team, and scored 6 points in that year’s World Juniors.
