Tyler Myers
Tyler Myers is a Canadian defenseman on the Buffalo Sabres.
Myers was drafted 12th overall in 2008 by Buffalo after putting together two very solid seasons with the Kelowna Rockets in the WHL. In 2008-09, he scored 42 points for the Rockets, as well as recording 105 penalty minutes. He added 20 more points in the playoffs, helping the Rockets win the league championship, and was named Playoff MVP. In 2009, he joined the Sabres, and scored his first goal against the New York Islanders.
Myers has played for Team Canada a number of times, winning a gold medal at the 2009 World Juniors.
