Pasi Puistola

Pasi Puistola is a Finnish defenseman on HV71.

Puistola has played professional hockey since 1997, when he first joined Ilves in the Finnish SM-liiga. He scored 16 points in his rookie season, and won the Rookie of the Year award, but saw his production drop significantly over the next 7 seasons, as he managed to score 10 points only once. In 2000, he signed with Assat, and then signed with Tappara in 2001. He saw his career rejuvenated with Tappara, as he scored 26 points in 2004-05. He scored 30 points the following season, and was signed by HV71, where he scored a career high 34 points in 2006-07. In 2007-08, he won a league title with HV71, and scored 32 points, while recording a career high 99 penalty minutes.
