Chris Kunitz
Chris Kunitz is a Canadian winger on the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Kunitz was undrafted after playing college hockey at Ferris State University. His senior year he was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, and helped his team reach the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history. He signed with Anaheim in 2003, and split his rookie season between the AHL and NHL. After the lockout, he was picked up by Atlanta, where he played two games before being dealt back to Anaheim. In 2006-07, he had a breakout season, scoring 25 goals and 60 points, while helping the Ducks win the Stanley Cup. In 2009, he was traded to Pittsburgh at the trade deadline and finished the season with 53 points, while playing alongside superstar Sidney Crosby.
Kunitz played for Team Canada at the 2008 World Championships.
