Rob Davison is a Canadian defenseman on the New Jersey Devils.

Davison was drafted by the San Jose Sharks in 1998, after playing in the OHL. He joined the Sharks in 2003, and played a number of seasons with the Sharks, before being traded to the New York Islanders in 2008. Davison scored his 3rd career goal in 2008, during a game against Toronto, in which he flipped a puck from his own goal line, and watched it skip down the ice and over the glove of Leafs’ goalie Vesa Toskala. Davison was signed by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2008 offseason, and played one season with the club. He appeared in 23 games, had 2 points, a -4 rating and 51 penalty minutes. He was signed by the Devils as a free agent in the 2009 offseason, but played only one game for the club in the 2009-10 season. He'll be looking to try and find himself a permanent roster spot for the first time since he was in San Jose at the 2010 training camp.
