Tim Gleason

Tim Gleason is an American defenseman on the Carolina Hurricanes.

Gleason was drafted by Ottawa 23rd overall in 2001. He played two more seasons in the OHL before breaking into the NHL in 2003. By then, he had been traded to Los Angeles, where he spent the next two seasons. He was traded to Carolina in 2006, as part of the deal that brought young star Jack Johnson to Los Angeles.

Gleason played for Team USA at the 2008 World Championships.
