Jack Johnson
Jack Johnson is an American defenseman on the Los Angeles Kings.
Johnson was originally drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes 3rd overall in 2005, but was almost immediately traded to Los Angeles. Johnson played college hockey at the University of Michigan, and made a name for himself as a talented offensive defenseman who loved to play the body. In 2007, he joined the Kings, and became one of the top defensemen on the team almost instantly. Unfortunately, he missed a large portion of the ’08-09 season with a shoulder injury.
Johnson played for the US at the 2006 World Juniors.
