John-Michael Liles

John-Michael Liles is an American defenseman on the Colorado Avalanche.

Liles was drafted by Colorado in 2000, after which he played four seasons at Michigan State, where he was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award. Liles joined the Avalanche in 2003-04, scoring 34 points in 79 games his rookie season. He set career highs with 14 goals, 35 assists and 49 points in 2005-06.

Liles played for Team USA at the 2006 Winter Olympics.
