Henrik Tallinder is a Swedish defenseman on the New Jersey Devils

Tallinder was drafted by Buffalo in 1997. He played 2 games with Buffalo in ’01-02, and began to earn more ice time over the next two seasons. During the lockout, he played with Linkopings of the Elitserien, where he and two other players were accused of sexual exploitation, although the charges were eventually dropped. In 2005, he had a breakout season, playing in all 82 games, and finishing with 21 points. Unfortunately, he broke his arm during the playoffs, and re-broke it the next season, only ten games into the year. He bounced back in ‘07-08, finishing with 18 points and playing 71 games. In 2009-10, he had another good season with the Sabres, scoring 20 points and posting a +13 rating to help Buffalo reach the playoffs again. He was unsigned at the end of the season, and was signed by the Devils as a UFA during the 2010 offseason.
