Tobias Enstrom

Tobias Enstrom is a Swedish defenseman on the Atlanta Thrashers.

Enstrom was drafted by Atlanta in 2003, after playing in the Swedish Elitserien with MODO Hockey. After being named rookie of the year in 2003, he earned the attention of the Thrashers, and went on to play another few seasons with MODO, winning a league title in 2007. He played his rookie season with Atlanta, accumulating 38 points and playing in all 82 games in the 200708 season. In 2008-09, he maintained his level of play, avoiding the typical sophomore slump that plagues many NHL defensemen. He scored 5 goals and 32 points while appearing in every game for the Thrashers yet again. He is considered to be one of the Thrashers' top young prospects.
