Matthew Lombardi is a Canadian center on the Nashville Predators.

Lombardi was drafted by Calgary in 2002, after turning down an earlier draft pick by Edmonton in 2000. He has played four full seasons with the Flames since joining them in 2003, including the run to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2004. His best statistical season came in 2006-07, when he scored 20 goals and 46 points. In 2008-09, Lombardi matched his point total from 06-07, scoring 30 points for the Flames before being traded to the Coyotes at the trade deadline. He scored 16 more points for Phoenix in the final 19 games of the season. Lombardi was one of the top players on the upstart Coyotes in 2009-10, scoring 19 goals and 53 points and helping the franchise reach the playoffs despite many off-ice financial issues. In 2010, the Coyotes were still struggling monetarily and were unable to re-sign Lombardi, and he signed with the Predators during the 2010 offseason.

Lombardi played for Team Canada and won a gold medal at the 2007 World Hockey Championships.
