Lee Stempniak
Lee Stempniak is an American right winger on the Phoenix Coyotes.
Stempniak was drafted by St. Louis in 2003, and went on to finish his college career at Dartmouth College. Since joining the Blues in 2005, Stempniak has proven himself to be a productive scorer. In his first full season in 2006-07, he scored 27 goals and 52 points. His production dropped a little bit the following season, as he finished with only 38 points. He got off to a good start in 2008, scoring 13 points in his first 14 games, but was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs. He scored 61 points in 123 games with the Leafs over the next two years, and was traded to Phoenix for a draft pick at the 2010 trade deadline. He went on a tear with the Coyotes, scoring 14 goals and 18 points in the final 18 games of the year.
Stempniak played for Team USA at the 2008 World Championships.
