Jeff Garcia is a retired professional football player originally from California. He spent his long career as a Quarterback in both the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the National Football League (NFL), primarily representing the Calgary Stampeders, San Francisco 49ers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Throughout his career, he overcame going undrafted to become a highly successful starting quarterback, earning four CFL All-Star nods and four NFL Pro Bowl selections.

Jeffrey Jason Garcia was born on February 24, 1970, in Gilroy, California, United States of America. The Quarterback stands 185 cm tall, and his weight was last listed at 93 kg.He attended Gilroy High School in his hometown. As a prep athlete, he was a letterman in football and basketball. Following graduation, Garcia played for Gavilan College in 1989 before transferring to play for San Jose State University from 1990 to 1993.
Professional Career
Every franchise bypassed him throughout the 1994 NFL Draft. Consequently, he entered professional football holding unselected free agent status before beginning his career in the CFL with the Calgary Stampeders in 1994. There, he won a Grey Cup and secured MVP honors.He debuted in the NFL in 1999 with the San Francisco 49ers. During his professional career, Garcia made multiple Pro Bowl appearances and led both the 49ers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the playoffs. He also had stints with the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles, Omaha Nighthawks, and Houston Texans before retiring.
Following his playing days, he transitioned into coaching, working as a quarterbacks coach and offensive assistant for teams like the Montreal Alouettes and St. Louis Rams, as well as an offensive coordinator for Mira Mesa Senior High School.
