Dallas Goedert is an American football player playing as a tight end for National Football League’s Philadelphia Eagles. He also played football during his college years at South Dakota State University.

Dallas Clayton Goedert was born on January 3, 1995, in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He stands 196 cm. tall and weighs 116 kg. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mary Jo Carlson. His parents are fond of fishing and rafting.Goedert attended Britton-Hecla High School in Britton, South Dakota. Later, he committed to play college football at South Dakota State University.
While at South Dakota, he was named to the First-team All-MVFC three times and was also named to the First-team FCS All-American twice.
Professional Career
He turned pro in 2018 when he was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the draft. He was the 49th overall pick. He was selected as a replacement for Brent Celek.In 2019, he recorded a career-high 9 receptions and one touchdown in the 17 to 9 victory versus Dallas Cowboys. In the Week 17 game versus New York Giants, he contributed to the victory of the Eagles upon recording 4 receptions for 65 yards during the 34 to 17 victory that secured the NFC East title twice within three-game seasons. Goedert finished the year’s regular season with 58 receptions for 5 touchdowns and 607 yards.
In the 2020 season-opening loss of Eagle to the Washington Football Team, he made 8 receptions for 101 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown. In 2021, Goedert took over as Eagles TE1, following Zach Ertz’s trade in October.
On January 3, 2022, Goedert was placed on the COVID list but was activated a week later.
