Von Miller or Von B’Vsean Mille Jr. is a professional outside linebacker of the National Football League. He is currently under contract with the Los Angeles Rams. Before turning professional in 2011, Miller was part of the football team of Texas A&M and earned several accolades.
The talented 6-foot-and-3-inch Miller was part of the football team of DeSoto High School. He was also a varsity track and field athlete playing the javelin throw, triple jump, and 110-meter hurdles. During his junior year in DeSoto, he became the MVP of District 8-5A and was considered a 4-star recruit. He was also ranked 15th in the entire country in 2007.
In college, Miller enrolled at the Texas A&M University and played with their football team from 2007 until 2010. During his freshman year, he was named The Sporting News’ Freshman All-Big 12. In 2009 and during his junior year, Miller was named First-Team All-American and All Big-12. By 2010, he was considered the country’s top linebacker, won the Butkus Award, and earned first-team All-American honors from ESPN, Pro Football Weekly, and Scout.com as well as the Associated Press and Walter Camp. This was also the year when he graduated with a degree in poultry science.

In terms of his professional career, Miller was regarded as one of the best outside linebackers during the 2011 NFL draft. Before being drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2011, he became the Defensive MVP during the 2011 Super Bowl. His official professional debut happened on September 11, 2011, when the Broncos played with the Oakland Raiders. By 2012, he was named AP Defensive Rookie of the Year.
It was in 2013 when Miller was ranked as the 9th player of the Top 100 Players program of the NFL. By 2015, he made an impressive record of being the third-fastest player to reach a 50 sacks career in the entire history of the NFL. From 2016 until the present, Miller continued to be ranked as one of the top ten fastest players.
Miller left the Denver Broncos to join the Rams in 2021, helping them reach Super Bowl LVI.
