This is a club having an eye to good sportsmanship and amity. The club got founded thirty years ago at the Sportsman on Metchley Lane in Harborne. This site has been the base of the club for many years. The club plays their home matches at West House, which is a small enclosed preparatory school ground, making it an idyllic setting for a good game of cricket.

Though at present, the club is not a part of a league, the situation is under assessment where the team plays a wide number of similar clubs throughout Worcestershire, Warwickshire and other cities too.

The members of the Sportsman Cricket Club come from a range of backgrounds like solicitors, teachers, businessmen and even dentists. The club caters to all abilities and offers a number of equipments needed for the cricket sport activity. The newcomers are always welcome here and are guaranteed a friendly welcome in the team.
