Ragama Cricket Club

The Ragama Cricket Club is a first class cricket team which is based in Katunayake in Sri Lanka. The home ground of the team is the Free Trade Zone Sports Complex. The captain of the team is Duminda Pereraimage:Duminda Perera|Duminda Perera. Till date, the club has won one Twenty20 tournament in 2006-07 season. So far, the best partnership record has been of 255 by EFMU Fernando and KAS Jayasinghe.

The Ragama Cricket Club is known to be one of the top ten clubs in Sri Lanka. The founder member of the team is Roshan Iddamalagoda who even launched the website of the club.

This is the club which is one of the leading cricket clubs not only in the Gampaha District but also in the entire Island. The Ragama Cricket Club is presently playing in the Premier Division Tier A with some of the leading clubs like Bloomfield, NCC and SSC. The club has so far proved to be a major force in the Local Premier Competition.

=== Major Achievements ===

The greatest achievement for the club has been to win Twenty20 Premier Club Tournament which has been organized by Sri Lanka Cricket. The club was under the captaincy of Duminda Perera, the all rounder in 2006-07 season. Other than that, the club were also the joint champions in the under 23 limited over competition, under the captaincy of Sameera Soyza, the former Sri Lanka youth wicket keeper.
