This team has won the Premier Trophy once.

It was on 6th March 2003 when the team played against Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club in the Premier League finals. The captain of the team was Rangana Herath, who won the toss and chose to field first. The Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club were out for 121 with Nandika Ranjith taking five wickets for 39.

Amila Wettasinghe made 62 and gained a 67 run on first innings which led to five for 96. Ranjith took five wickets for just 16 on the second innings which led to 172. This left the Moors team to go for 106 and after losing their fourth wicket, they won by only one wicket. The top score was that of Bathiya Perera with 31 runs and Thamara Abeyratne with 25 not out. The man of the match was awarded to Nandika Ranjith for 10 wickets and Chandika Hathurusingha was named as the player of the tournament.
