The Australian cricket player, Daniel Trevor Christian is an Australian cricket player who presently plays for the Australia cricket team other than the South Australia cricket team. In 2011, he was selected by the Deccan Chargers team to play for the IPL 4 season. Presently, he has been retained by this team to play at the IPL 5 season 2012.

Born in Camperdown, New South Wales in 1983, Christian is an all rounder, playing right hand batting and right arm fast medium bowling. In 2010, he became a part of the Hampshire Royals for the Friends Provident Twenty20 matches and is known as a powerful hitter.

In 2009, Christian actively participated as captain of the Indigenous Australian cricket team touring England. He was known by Cricinfo as a brutal batsman, especially when aiming at Adelaide's square boundaries and also as one of the rare strikers, whose eyes doesn't need a warm up ball. Moreover, Christian became a part of the Twenty20 matches of the Australian team post his series clever and consistent past performances.

In the month of February, 2010, Christian made his debut in the Twenty20 international match held against the team of the West Indies. He was also the member of the Australia team men squad for the ICC World Twenty20 in 2010. He played for the team of Hampshire in 2010 Twenty20 campaign.
