Moises Henriques
Moisés Constantino Henriques is a professional Australian cricket player who presently plays for the New South Wales Blues. This all rounder, is known as one of the best young aspiring talents in the Australian cricket team.
He represented the New South Wales team and Australia team at under 17 and under 19 level. In 2004, he received the first Rexona Australian Youth Cricket Scholarship, which was an initiative backed by Ricky Ponting.
This genuine all rounder is known for his bowling skills rather than batting skills. His role model is South African all rounder, Jacques Kallis, though his style is compared to Australian player, Shane Watson.
At the age of 16 years, he got selected for the Australian under 19 cricket team for the 2004 under 19, Cricket World Cup held in Bangladesh. Considering his age, he performed very well taking 11 wickets at 19.27 and scoring 95 runs at 19.00. In 2005, he was named in the Australia's under 19 squad to tour India for a one day series against the Indian under 19 cricket team. He was a stand out when the Australian team lost the series, scoring 132 runs at an average of 44.00, taking 8 wickets at 18.25.
