Thilan Thushara is a left handed batsman and left arm fast medium bowler who plays for Sri Lanka cricket team. He also plays for Sri Lanka A, Sinhalese Sports Club, Singha Sports Club, Nondescripts Cricket Club, Kandurata and Colts Cricket Club.

Thushara debuted in Test cricket on 27th June 2003 at Kingston against West Indies. In the 1st innings, he was the No. 9 batsman and scored 11 runs in 15 deliveries including 2 fours. He bowled 10 overs, out of which 1 was maiden, conceded 36 runs and failed to take a wicket. In the 2nd innings, he scored 13 runs in 32 deliveries while hitting 1 boundary. He bowled 5 overs, none of which were maiden, gave away 23 runs without taking any wicket. West Indies won this match by 7 wickets. Thushara’s debut One day International was played on 15th April 2008 at Gros Islet against West Indies. He faced 2 deliveries but was out for no score. He bowled 5.2 overs, out of which 1 was maiden, conceded 12 runs and took 1 wicket. This match did not have a result due to the rains.
