Professional Career
He started playing professionally in 2001. It was for the Baroda Cricket Team. He played with the team until 2020.
Pathan was capped by the National team to play in T20I Cricket for the first time in September 2007. In June 2008, he made his One Day International debut. It was in a match against Pakistan.
Also in 2008, he started playing for the Rajasthan Royals. In 2011, he signed with the Kolkata Knight Riders and before he retired in 2019, he spent time playing for the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
