Ajit Chandila

Ajit Chandila is a professional Indian Cricketer who was born in Faridabad on 5th December 1983. He is a right handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler. He plays his domestic cricket in India for the Haryana State Team.

He played his debut First-Class match against Himachal Pradesh on 1st November, 2010. He is a good lower order batsman who is also capable of bowling good off-break deliveries. Ajit Chandila can develop himself in a good All-Rounder in a span of couple of years.

He has just played 2 First-Class matches where he has scored 23 runs and while bowling he has picked up 3 wickets. Recently, Delhi Daredevils have selected Ajit Chandila as one of the budding domestic players required to play in the IPL 2011. He will gain from the International level experience of Indian Premiere League where domestic and international players club together to make the playing XI.

Ajit Chandila has not got enough opportunity in the domestic level but IPL will be a perfect stage for him to demonstrate his skills for future prospects. His Role for the team would be to provide support in the spin bowling attack.
