Callum James Ferguson, an Australian cricketer who is currently playing Domestic cricket for South Australia was born on 21st November 1984 in North Adelaide, South Australia. He is nicknamed as Fergie and is a middle order right handed batsman. Previously, he was a part of the Pune Warriors team in 2011. Presently, he has been retained by this team to play for the IPL team 2012 season.

Ferguson played his debut match on 16th October 2004 versus Victoria at Adelaide Oval which is his home ground. His debut season was full of runs as he top scored for South Australia with 733 runs at a healthy average of 38.57 runs. He was also chosen for the Under-19 World Cup in Bangladesh in 2004 but a knee injury did not allow him to play the tournament.

On 4th December 2004, Callum Ferguson scored his maiden first class century with 103 runs against New South Wales at the Sydney Cricket Ground. In the second season he played several concrete innings and scored 503 runs in total at an average of 36.

On 6th February 2009, he made his debut against New Zealand at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. There he could manage 6 runs of 6 balls. Ferguson made his first half century on 13th February 2009 versus New Zealand at Brisbane with scoring 55 not out. Ferguson’s current top score is against England where he made 71 of 75 balls and staying not out. He got selected by the Pune Warriors for the IPL for his good strike rate shown in all forms of Cricket.
