Rajasthan Royals will be looking to turn a corner and start winning gams again when minnows Kings XI Punjab visit the Sawai Mansingh stadium in Jaipur for the IPL clash between the two sides on Sunday, April 14.

Rajasthan Royals started the tournament extremely well with a couple of wins, however they failed to sustain their run of form as they lost to the Pune Warriors in their last match.

Captain cum coach Rahul Dravid is a perfectionist by nature and he will be looking to make sure that there is no repeat from the last game and prepare his players accordingly.

The Rajasthan Royals, who won the inaugural edition of the Indian Premier League are a team who do not believe in spending heavily and every season, there have been a couple of youngsters who have been given a chance here. This season, the story has been of Rahul Shukla, a young fast bowlers who has caused heads to turn.

There are some fantastic players in their ranks in the form of Shane Watson, Shaun Tait, Kevon Cooper, Ajinkya Rahane, Dravid, Brad Hodge and Sreesanth – all of whom have match winning potential.

The Kings XI Punjab started the tournament well but fell to defeat at the hands of the Chennai Super Kings in the last round of games.

This is another team who give chances to youngsters and have been unable to spend big thanks to financial constraints.

However, they must be lauded for getting fine Indian talent on board and then give these lads the chance to play in matches. Adam Gilchrist has led the side well and players such as Manan Vohra, Mandeep Singh, Gurkeerat Singh and David Hussey have played well so far.

As far as their bowling is concerned, Ryan Harris, Praveen Kumar, Azhar Mehmood and Piyush Chawla have been bowling consistently well for a while now.
