Knockout CP Freshmart is an active professional boxer from Thailand. He is the former long-reigning WBA Mini-Flyweight World Champion, having held the title for over eight years.

Player Profile and Personal Life

Thammanoon Niyomtrong was born on September 20, 1990, in Surin, Thailand. The Thai fighter is 152 cm tall and has a wingspan of 155 cm.

He has competed primarily in the mini Flyweight division. He fights from an orthodox position and is a former Muay Thai fighter. Like many Thai boxers, he adopts a ring name that includes his nickname ("Knockout") and his sponsor ("CP Freshmart").

Career

Knockout began his professional campaign in June 2012 with a sixth-round technical decision victory.

He quickly rose to the top of the 105-pound division, winning the WBA Interim title in 2014 and the full WBA Mini-Flyweight World Title in 2016 by defeating Byron Rojas.

He successfully defended his world title 13 times against opponents such as Wanheng Menayothin and Chaozhong Xiong, establishing himself as the longest-reigning champion in the division at the time.

His historic reign ended in November 2024 in a unification bout against Oscar Collazo in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Knockout was stopped in the seventh round, suffering the first loss of his professional career.

Following the loss, Knockout remained active in 2025, securing three consecutive victories in Thailand against Natchaphon Wichaita, Roland Toyogo, and Saichon Wongwai to rebuild his momentum. He is currently scheduled to face Junior Zarate for the vacant WBC Light Flyweight World Title in December 2025.
