Career
Cafu began his professional campaign in May 2018 with a second-round TKO victory. He built his career domestically, capturing the South African Flyweight and Super Flyweight Titles, as well as the WBF and IBF International titles.He achieved global recognition in October 2024 with a stunning upset victory over four-weight world champion Kosei Tanaka. Traveling to Tokyo, Japan, Cafu dropped the defending champion in the fifth round and won a split decision to capture the WBO Super Flyweight Title.
His reign was short-lived, as he lost the title in a unification bout against WBC champion Jesse Rodriguez in July 2025. Cafu was stopped in the 10th round in Frisco, Texas.
