Career

Nakatani began his professional campaign in April 2015 with a first-round TKO victory. He had a brief but successful amateur career, winning the U15 National Championships.

He won his first world title in November 2020, stopping Giemel Magramo in the eighth round to claim the vacant WBO Flyweight Title. After two successful defenses, he moved up to Super Flyweight.

In May 2023, he captured the vacant WBO Super Flyweight Title with a spectacular 12th-round knockout of Andrew Moloney, a win that earned "Knockout Of The Year" honors.
