Career

Stevenson began his professional campaign in 2017 following a decorated amateur run that concluded with a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

He won his first world title in October 2019, defeating Joet Gonzalez by unanimous decision for the vacant WBO Featherweight belt.

He then moved up to Super Featherweight and captured the WBO Title in October 2021 with a TKO victory over Jamel Herring. This was followed by a major unification rivalry with Óscar Valdez in April 2022.

Stevenson won by unanimous decision to add the WBC and vacant Ring magazine titles to his collection.

In November 2023, he became a three-division champion by defeating Edwin De Los Santos for the vacant WBC Lightweight Title.
