Krzysztof Wlodarczyk
Krzysztof Wlodarczyk, aka “Diablo,” is a professional boxer from Poland. Wlodarczyk was born on September 19, 1981 in Warsaw, Poland, and is best known for being the current WBC Cruiserweight champion of the world, as well as the former IBF Cruiserweight champion of the world.
Not much is known about Wlodarczyk aside from the fact that he fights using an Orthodox stance, and has been boxing for quite sometime already.
Wlodarczyk’s IBF title was a memorable one where he won the title against Steve Cunnigham in November 25, 2006 via split decision. Unfortunately, he lost his title to Cunningham after a rematch was held in May 26, 2007. Approximately 2 years after his loss to Cunningham, Wlodarczyk went against Giacobbe Fragomeni in an attempt to achieve the WBC Cruiserweight title. During the fight, he was able to knockdown Fragomeni in the ninth round, but the fight ended in a draw after the twelfth round.
In May 2010, Wlodarczyk once more fought Fragomeni for the WBC cruiserweight title, and was successful in defeating him via knockout in the eighth round.
So far, Wlodarczyk has fought in 47 matches with 44 victories, 32 via knockout. He has also two losses with 1 draw.
