The fight between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder is set on July 24, as they are fighting head-to-head for the heavyweight title. The original player that Fury will be competing against is Anthony Joshua, but the plan was halted, so the management turned to Deontay Wilder.

With the record of 30 Wins, 0 Loss, 1 Draw with 21 Knock-outs, the reigning WBC Tyson Fury had announced on his Twitter account that he signed a contract to fight against Deontay Wilder. Kevin Iole, a Yahoo respondent, had reported that Wilder had signed earlier this week.

The fight will take place on July 24 and Top Rank’s Bob Arum will be the handling promoter of the upcoming fight. Wilder, who is yet to speak about the fight publicly, is confident of his advantages over Fury, especially he had a significant record of 42-1-1, 41 KOs.

This is considered to be Fury’s comeback after battling depression and substance for 3 years. In his last fight in December 2018, he flocked a lot of boxing fans after the questionable split draw decision. Their rematch in February 2020 is an improvement to Fury’s performance as he dominated the ring. Wilder’s former co-trainer Mark Breland was put into controversy after he threw in the towel, resulting in his termination. To honor their 2019 contract, Fury will have the larger cut of the 60-40 wage division.

On the other hand, Fury’s original opponent, Anthony had his way of defending his title and he is set to play against former cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.
