Professional Career
Blalock's professional basketball career began in 2006 when he was selected by the Detroit Pistons as the 60th overall pick in the second round of the NBA Draft.After his stint with the Pistons, Blalock's career took him to various teams across different leagues. In 2007, he played for the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the NBA Development League and then had a brief spell with Hapoel Jerusalem in Israel.
He finished the 2007-2008 season with the Anaheim Arsenal, another D-League team.
Blalock's journey continued in Europe, where he spent the 2008-2009 season with the Artland Dragons in Germany. He then returned to the United States, playing for the Maine Red Claws in the 2009-2010 season and briefly for the Reno Bighorns in 2010.
The 2010-2011 season saw Blalock venture to Australia, where he played for the Townsville Crocodiles.
He then had a short stint with the Saint John Mill Rats in Canada in 2011. Blalock returned to the Bighorns in 2012, followed by a brief period with the Huracanes del Atlántico in the Dominican Republic.
Blalock's career came full circle as he played again for the Bighorns in the 2012-2013 season. His professional playing career concluded in 2013 with a final stint for the Mill Rats.
