Mitchell Butler is a former American professional basketball player who played eight seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Teams he has played in the NBA include the Washington Bullets, Portland Trail Blazers, and the Cleveland Cavaliers. He also played in the Continental Basketball Association and became a CBA Champion in 2003. After his playing career, he became a sports agent.

After going undrafted in 1993, Butler signed with the Washington Bullets. He played three seasons in Washington before being traded to the Portland Trail Blazers along with Rasheed Wallace.

He later played for the Cleveland Cavaliers and had stints in Lithuania and the CBA before returning to the NBA with Portland and Washington again.

In 2003, he became a CBA Champion with the Yakima Sun Kings.

After retiring, he worked as an NBA Sports Agent.
