Anderson was selected by the Utah Jazz with the 54th overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft. He played his first three seasons with the Jazz, reaching the NBA Finals in both 1997 and 1998.In 1999, Anderson signed with the Houston Rockets, where he had his best statistical seasons.
Anderson then played for the New York Knicks from 2001 to 2004 before finishing his career with the Miami Heat. In his final season, he won an NBA championship with the Heat in 2006.
