Theo Ratliff is a former professional basketball player in the National Basketball Player and a former owner of the Rome Gladiators in the now-defunct World Basketball Association. He has played in the NBA with a number of teams, including the San Antonio Spurs, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Boston Celtics. In 2001, he was named an NBA All-Star.

He turned pro in 1995 and was the 18th overall pick in the first round of the draft, selected by the Detroit Pistons. He played on the team from 1995 to 1997. In his 16 years in the NBA, he played for 8 teams.
He spent the most years playing in the Philadelphia 76ers (1997-2001), Atlanta Hawks (2001-2004), and the Portland Trail Blazers (2004-2006). Other teams he’s played for, include the Boston Celtics, Minnesota Timberwolves, San Antonio Spurs, Charlotte Bobcats, and the Los Angeles Lakers.
