Goran Dragić is a Slovenian former professional basketball player. He played in the National Basketball Association for 15 seasons, most notably with the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat. He was an NBA All-Star in 2018 and won the NBA Most Improved Player Award in 2014. He last played in the NBA for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Goran Dragić was born on May 6, 1986, in Ljubljana, SR Slovenia, SFR Yugoslavia (now Slovenia). He stands 193 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 86 kg. He played as a left-handed point guard and shooting guard.His younger brother Zoran Dragić also played professional basketball, including a stint together with the Phoenix Suns in 2014–15. This marked the first time in NBA history that two pairs of brothers played for the same team at the same time, alongside Marcus Morris and Markieff Morris.
Early Career
Dragić began his professional career at age 17 with Ilirija of the Slovenian Minor League in 2003. He then played for Slovan and Murcia before joining Union Olimpija and winning the Slovenian League Championship in 2008.NBA Career
Dragić was drafted 45th overall by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2008 NBA Draft. His draft rights were traded to the Phoenix Suns, where he played his first NBA seasons from 2008 to 2011.He was traded to the Houston Rockets in 2011 before returning to the Suns in 2012. In 2014, he was named the NBA Most Improved Player and made the All-NBA Third Team.
In 2015, Dragić was traded to the Miami Heat. He helped lead the Heat to the NBA Finals in 2020, but they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers. Dragić made his only NBA All-Star appearance with Miami in 2018.
After stints with the Raptors, Nets, Bulls, and Bucks, Dragić retired from the NBA in 2023 after 15 seasons.
He finished his career with averages of 13.3 points and 4.7 assists per game.
International Career
Dragić was a long-time member of the senior Slovenian National Team. He led Slovenia to its first EuroBasket title in 2017, winning the tournament MVP. Dragić is Slovenia's all-time leader in both points scored and games played.Career Highlights
