Ernest "J.R." Bremer is a retired American-Bosnian professional basketball player who had a brief National Basketball Association career followed by a successful international career, primarily in Europe. He played in a number of teams, including the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors.

High School and College Career
Bremer attended Cleveland Heights High School in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. He then played college basketball at St. Bonaventure University from 1998 to 2002.At St. Bonaventure, Bremer developed into one of the top players in the Atlantic 10 Conference. In his senior year, he was named to the First-team All-Atlantic 10.
Professional Career
After going undrafted in the 2002 NBA Draft, Bremer signed with the Boston Celtics. He had a solid rookie season, which earned him a spot on the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 2003.Bremer was traded to the [Cleveland Cavaliers]] for the 2003-2004 season and later played briefly for the Golden State Warriors in 2004, concluding his NBA career.
Following his NBA stint, Bremer had an extensive international career that spanned over a decade. He played for numerous European clubs in Spain, Italy, Greece, Russia, Turkey, and France. In 2008, he was considered one of the highest-paid point guards in Europe.
Bremer also obtained Bosnian citizenship and represented the Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team in international competitions.
After retiring as a player in 2017, Bremer returned to his alma mater, Cleveland Heights High School, as a coach in 2019.
