In addition, he was also named a McDonald’s All-American. He was also named the Naismith Prep Player of the Year.For college, he declared for the University of Alabama and played for the team from 2000 to 2001.
Professional Career
He declared for the NBA in 2001 and was drafted into the league by the Sacramento Kings. He played for the Kings from 2001 to 2004. In 2004, he signed with the Charlotte Bobcats. In 2006, he led the NBA in steals. In 2010, he was named an NBA All-Star.For the 2011-2012 season, he played for the Portland Trail Blazers. Then in the 2012-2013 season, he was with the New Jersey Nets. His last two seasons in the NBA were played with the Boston Celtics. Wallace retired in 2015.
