Professional Career
He joined the NBA in 1983 and was drafted into the league by the Houston Rockets. He was selected 3rd overall in the first round of the draft. He played with the Rockets from 1983 to 1988.In 1988, he was signed by the Sacramento Kings. That year, he was also named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team. From 1990 to 1992, he played for the Dallas Mavericks. In 1992, he started playing for the Chicago Bulls and he was part of the team that won the NBA Championship. He retired from the NBA in 1993.
