High School and College Career

Diallo attended John Bowe High School in Flushing, New York. Later, he went to Putnam Science Academy in Putnam, Connecticut. He then committed to play for the University of Kentucky.

Professional Career

He was a second-round pick during the 2018 NBA Draft, selected by the Brooklyn Nets who then traded him to the Oklahoma City Thunder. From 2018 to 2019, he also played for the Oklahoma City Blue, their NBA G League team.

In 2019, he won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest. In 2021, he signed to play with the Detroit Pistons. In 2023, he played for the Capital City Go-Go. Then in 2024, he signed a two-way contract with the Go-Go and the Washington Wizards.
