Moussa Diabaté was born on January 21, 2002, in Paris, France. He stands 208 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 95 kg. He is right-handed and he is a center.

He is of Guinean and Malian descent. When he was 14, he moved to the United States for his basketball career. He struggled in his early years in the USA as he did not speak much English.

High School and College Career

He attended Florida Prep Academy in Melbourne, Florida. Later, he transferred to DME Academy in Daytona Beach, Florida before eventually attending IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

While in high school, he played in the 2021 Jordan Brand Classic. That year, he was also named a McDonald’s All-American.

In 2021, he committed to play for the University of Michigan and was there from 2021 to 2022. In 2022, he was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team.

Professional Career

In 2022, he joined the National Basketball Association after he was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers in the second round of the 2022 NBA Draft.

He signed a two-way contract with the Clippers that also had him play with their NBA G League affiliate team, the Ontario Clippers. In July 2023, he again signed a two-way contract with the Clippers.
