He attended McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Georgia. Later, he attended Auburn University from 2019 to 2020.

In 2020, he was named to the Second-team All-SEC, SEC All-Freshman Team, and the SEC All-Defensive Team.

Professional Career

In 2020, he joined the NBA and was the 5th overall pick, selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He signed with the team in November. He debuted with the team in the first preseason game of the 2020-2021 season.

In addition to his professional career, he also represents the United States internationally. In 2018 he helped the team win the FIBA Under-17 World Cup, held in Argentina. That same year, he was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team.

He still plays for the Cavaliers in early 2024.
